The Mystery Worshippers are three people who live in Greater Manchester who visit churches and review them, a bit like mystery shoppers. We put the reviews up at the Church’s google map entry. We also post them here on this website.
So who are the Mystery Worshippers? We can’t reveal our identities, but we can tell you a little bit about ourselves. One of us is an Engineer, another a Theologian, and the third is a Mental Health Nurse. One of us is a social democrat, another a conservative, and the third is a liberal. One of us lives in Salford, another in Manchester, and the third in Trafford. Two of us are Christians, and the third is an agnostic. We are friends who usually have lunch together after the service to go through the review.
We are mysterious, we are worshippers, we are the Mystery Worshippers.
